  1. This is horrible to look at, I have a 16 y/o daughter, and I'll comment on both sides:

If that were my daughter they beat, I would not be held responsible for my actions, because if I had seen the tape, I would probably be arrested for beating a 16 y/o's A$$.

If my daughter were involved in something like this, the situation would be a little different, because I would be in jail for beating my own 16 y/o's A$$.  If that were my child beating on someone like that, I would put on my sneakers and take her A$$ outside and beat her like she beat that child, and dare her to lift a hand to hit back!

  2. You know I'M STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL, and I see stuff like this happen ALLLL THE TIME.

Not this BAD, but it happens.

I'm SICK of our world today.

I'm YOUNGER than those girls and I feel more mature.

I'm glad I have strict parents.

WHERE DID ALL THE GOOD PARENTS GO?

Kids at my school, I SWEAR, i'd love to hire someone to slap their parents across the face.

Those girls should get charged as adults.

    They are pathetic, digusting, stupid.

    I live in florida too.

  3. Ugh, my heart just sank for that lil girl.

This has been going on for many years. I was bullied and beat myself growing up and the results of being attacked are horrendous, emotionally, mentally.

Kids these days just don't get disciplined like they used too.

Well, parent's have their hands tied behind their backs these days too because now it's almost impossible to discipline your child without someone yelling "child abuse"

My girls are very young right now, 3, 2 and 1. But you can bet your bottom dollar the day we find out they bullied or beat someone she'll have a redneck father, redneck grandparent's and one pissed of mama opening a can of whoop@ss.

I wouldn't beat my kids, i wouldn't even raise my hand to them in that instance, we would choose public humiliation and endorse the sherriff to lock them up for a week and give them community service and dare anyone yell "child abuse"

Is that the same video that the mother encouraged the girls to do the beating? Oh boy, the kind of world we are creating!

They should eb tried as adults and the parent's sent to parenting classes or something - something should be done or else what is this saying to other youths.

  4. If the child or the teenager made a big mistake

You can teach him/her –by advice and good example of polite old stories

But the violence doesn't create discipline

    Violence create violence

    Tampa, FL "Quote"

"All these teenagers deserve long jail sentences due to fact they could've killed my niece. If it was up to me i would definitely try them as adults to fullest of the law. And for the mother Christina and the father of Shumaker should also spend jail time due to their neglect of their kids and their actions in this case.It is obvious they have no control of their kids and their own actions. If it were my child there would be severe problems the law couldn't even provide for these parents and almost adults. "

Link below shows as to what others think of this atrocity.

I hope that they are tried as adults and there parents are also duly served by the law to the fullest.

  6. They're savages, savages, nothing more than savages! They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible under the law as adults!

  7. THE SAD THING IS I HAVE SEEN WORSE BEATINGS THEN THIS WHEN I WAS YOUNGER. PEOPLE WANT TO BLAME YOUTUBE AND MYSPACE BUT THIS HAS BEEN GOIN ON FOR YEARS. WHEN I WAS YOUNGER THEY STILL USED TO VIDEO TAPE IT, SET PEOPLE UP, AND EVERYTHING THIS VIDEO HAS SHOWN..ONLY THING WAS IT NEVER GOT THE ATTENTION THIS VIDEO DID AND IT NEVER ENDED UP ON THE INTERNET. ITS SICK BUT ITS HAPPENING EVERYWHERE EVERYDAY

  8. something is wrong with the parents to have taught their children that this is acceptable behavior.  Even one of the mothers who talked on tv wasn't aware how serious the matter was.  Who taught that mother her morals?

I know this kind of behavior has been going on at least since the early 1960's or before so why parents are so shocked it's brought out in the news by children who wish to be noticed is more of a surprise to me.  Children want to be known by their bad deeds because their parents won't take the time to praise their good deeds.

Anyway, I heard those children would be tried as adults, and I'm glad for that.  I hope they get time.  Someone has to stop this kind of behavior and it's good to nip it in the bud now rather than kids think it's fine and continue to do it.  The problem I see is that the kids get bonded out instead of staying behind bars and learning.  See, the parents don't want them to learn.  Parents flash some money and think they are God, and they get what they want and the abuse continues.  When are PARENTS going to learn?
