I found out last Friday that I am having a boy! Yeah!! I already have 2 girls. So we picked the name Ethan Charles. Ethan I have always loved and Charles is after my father...Charles Gorman...

What do you think?

That is the names meaning. Not only is it cute but you can be sure your boy will be a strong, firm, free man!

Ethan Charles is a nice combination.  Charles is on my top 5 list for boys, too.  I think the name Ethan is at the downswing of popularity, too.  You don't see too many new babies named Ethan.  Congratulations on your son!

Charles Gorman sounds good together but Ethan is a nice name, hard choice, i named my kid Lucas, but imagine Lucas Gorman.

Ethan sounds a bit pretentious. When I hear it I think of some young rich guy in a blazer who likes to play at being British.

Charles will get shortened to Chuck, or similar.
