- Really Brazil is not a safe, because our country  it´s route the Europeans and Americans Drugs Conssumers.

But we haven´t  problems with terrorism, hurricane, twisters, lowest temperature, Iraq Wars, Bin Laden, Gemini Towers...

- Americans don´t need visas in passport to visit Brazil, because we like all visits. All are welcome !!

It´s very hard one brazilian to get a visa to visit USA.

- Americans have trops to war in Iraq and Afeganistan.

Brazilians have ONU trops to peace in Haiti and East Timor.

- Brazilians created the ethanol fuel, not pollued the world, my car use ethanol ! In USA, many families have 2 cars, moving to the gasoline.

And so, what do you think about the brazilians?

i cannot believe some of these crazy answers above.

brazil is like any other country: there are great things... and there are some not-so-great things.  same with brazilians.  many brazilians are very friendly, generous, gracious, polite, honest and kind.  others can be, at times, just the opposite.  so, no matter what country we talk about... there were always be a lot of diversity.

i have visited brazil twice in the past year and have had both good and bad experiences both times. overall, i LOVE brazil and have come to appreciate many things about both brazil and brazilians.  a very beautiful country with many amazing and beauiful people.

Brazil has a GDP larger than Canada.  What a shame! According to  CNN, we are the most miserable country in the face of earth, even with a economy as strong as Italy and France. Everybody lives in shuntytowns (they represent 3% of your population!!! - Les Miserables). Everybody (0000000,1% of the population) speaks spanish. CNN: bullshit everywhere.

i just moved to brazil and the people are kind and welcoming. they always want to help others.

they are also very hard workers but still have fun. they also work hard at school and i know because fifth grade math here is 7th grade math in the usa. they are also very healthey, they eat healthy food (unlike fast food) and walk A LOT. yet they dont make fun of or discriminate overweight people. life is great here

I like Brazilians very much and have visited Brazil several times over the past 5 years.  Brazilians are generally very patient and encouraging to anyone who makes a little effort to learn the language.  Also, I know many Brazilians who are living in the US.  They are very hardworking and willing to teach people about their culture.  As someone else said, there is good and bad in every nationality, but I have been treated very well by Brazilians both in the US and in Brazil.

One thing was said above that I need to correct, for any US citizens thinking of visiting Brazil - we **do need visas.**  If you try to enter Brazil without one, you could have a lot of trouble, just as a Brazilian would trying to enter the US without a visa.  The Brazilian government has a policy of reciprocity, so when the US tightens up its entry requirements and raises its visa application fees, Brazil does the same thing.
