What do you think about the ceral diet ?

Ok dose the ceral diet make you lose a stone in a week aparantly so this is what i'll have

(Breakfast)-ceral (Lunch)-ceral (Dinner)-somthing healthy

tell me what u think

  1. Try to give your body a variety of colors...It doesn't help you out if you eat like Lucky Charms two meals of the day cause it's high in sugar, which supports weight gain. Eat fruits, veggies, drink skim milk, whole wheat, and vegan/vegetarian diet foods.


  2. I think its severely limited in nutritional value, boring and will be hard to stick to.

  4. Yes it works, no it's not pleasant, no the weight won't stay off.

  5. Cereal is not good for you. It is a carbonhydrate and causes bloatedness.  In the UK and the USA, cereal is a massive money making food business (it makes more money than any other food).  No other other nations eat has much cereal as the UK and the USA.   The Mediterraneans'  (Italy, France, Spain, Greece) eat fruit to start their day.  90% of cereals contain a massive amount of sugar.  The only cereals that are good are porridge and shredded wheat (they are a slow release food and contain no salt or sugar (slow realease of energy and vital nutrients - keeps you going without you having the need to pick)).

    Eating Cereal to lose weight is not a good idea.  Initially, you will lose weight - short-term. It will only be temporary (you cannot maintain weight lose by eating the same food): -  Your body will get used to you the eating the cereal and your brain will get bored 'so to speak' and switch off.  Your body needs variety of foods to keep you healthy. Once you go back to normal eating you will put weight on.  This is due to you not maintaining a balanced diet.

    While I do not Condone this it is perfectly fine as long as you follow these guidelines

    While this may be fine with cereals such as wheat bran and Special K and maybe Cheerios.. Remember this if you are using this to lose weigh you MUST watch the sugar and fat intake

    ( Can not do this with say Froot Loops) and you MUST makes sure you are getting protein..  Silk Soy Milk will provide you with the adequate protein.. Do Not use whole milk

    If it has some fruit and grains im pretty sure its gud for yo diet
