does it bother you that we still live in a SUPPOSEDLY civilized world which still doesnt take into the consideration the lives of the creatures with which we share the planet?

  1. I think it's a terrible terrible loss, made even worse by the fact that STILL no one gives a d**n. Just another name on the long list of things humans have destroyed with their insatiable greed.

It could have been avoided so easily too, but people are far more concerned with how much cash they can stuff in their pockets.

Honestly people, this planet doesn't ask very much

  2. yes it bothers me a LOT. im a vegetarian too. ive never heard of those dolphins though, thats sad that theyre extinct now though ]=

  3. It bothers me very much. Not many people anymore take into consideration that there are in fact other living beings on this Earth that have as much right to be here as we do. I think that we should get our act together and protect all endangered species because it is only fair. It really is sad to see a species go extinct, thinking about how you will never get to see one again.

  4. In YOUR civilized world, what would you tell the hundreds of millions of people who live in the Yangtze River Valley?  They can't fish there?  They can't draw water?  They can't fertilize crops?

  5. dude . .. email me

  6. I don't have the energy to climb on my soap box, but I completely 100% agree with you. How dare we be so arrogant and selfish. It enrages me sometimes.

To put it in the simplest terms, it is the human race that deserves be extinct. Our extinction is the only thing that can save our poor sick planet. That may be a disturbing thought to some people but it is true.

  7. I was not surprised, very sad but not surprised. I personnaly feel mt zions answer is the exact reason that it happened in the first place. It is ridiculous to suggest that it is inevitable due to people living and farming there. I dont think that a steam roller mentality to the environment gets us any further in this debate.  So does that make it progress, survival of the fitest? Did they 'have it coming'? Should they (the dolphins) have done something about it? Stupid, dumb dolphins should of evolved faster and then this would never of happened, they have only got themselves to blame...

So where does this leave the Hectors Dolphin of New Zealand?? I tell you where, about 2 steps behind The Yangtze River Dolphin. They continue to get caught in nets (if I remember correctly it was about 25 last year), and even if they are not going to get caught in nets they will starve to death because of over fishing. The idea of Dolphin friendly Tuna is a complete joke.  What do people think that dolphins eat? Tins of Dolphin food?? The only Dolphin safe Tuna is the one that is still in the sea. I have seen more Dolphins than most people have had hot dinners and I tell you they are starving to death out there, so we may as well catch and eat them while they still have some meat on them...

And as for the Maui Dolphin we may as well start to prepare the notice of extinction...

Anyway, I hope that makes some sense..

It is probably better that you dont look at the links below.....well, you can look at the first one...
