A Texas man who shot and killed two men he believed to be burglarizing his neighbor's home won't be going to trial. A grand jury today failed to indict Joe Horn, a 61-year-old computer technician who lives in an affluent subdivision in Pasadena, Texas. In the Lone Star state, where the six-gun tamed the frontier, shooting bad guys is a time-honored tradition, and Horn's case centered on a Texas state law based on the old idea that "a man's home is his castle." 1. he saved the taxpayers of Texas  a whole bunch of money.

They should honor him with a statue..  He did what most politicians lack the nards to do

  2. "Wonder if this might keep the illegals out?"  Geez!  The guy shot two people, who were LATER determined to be here illegally.  It's not like they ran around in T-shirts saying they snuck over the border and were therefore shot because of their status.  They were criminals.  Perhaps other criminals might be deterred from going into Mr. Horn's yard, but I highly doubt this is going to make the wire and scare all the Mexicans from coming here.

Personally, after hearing the 911 transcripts, Joe Cowboy was looking for a chance to fire his gun.  He was safe and sound, and authorities were on the way.  He wasn't charged because they were 'just Mexicans'.  But hey, it's Texas.

  3. Good for Joe!

In Texas, we believe that Mi Casa is Mi Casa.

If someone is breaking and entering:  we shoot first, and ask questions later

    God Bless Texas!!!!!!!!!

  4. First of all, their illegal status has nothing to do with it. That coward shot them in the back, which means they were probably running from him and couldn't pose a threat! The idiot could have posed more of a threat to police officers if they were already there.
