What do you think about the following Dell laptop for home office/personal use?

I am a college instructor who needs to check emails, do research via the Internet, keep grade books (Excel), and develop lectures and presentations (Word or PowerPoint) at home. I am not interested in gaming or anything like that. Here's what the computer offers: Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor; Up to 3 hrs. battery life; Windows Vista Home Premium; 2GB DDR2 memory; 160 GB Hard Drive. Sale price $449.

What are considerations for this laptop (too slow, need more features, etc.) and are there pre-loaded programs I should be looking for? Thanks!!!

Sounds good. You'll probably need to buy Microsoft Office for it. Are you sure there's not a video card? With all of that, there should be something.
