  1. i don't think it was actually a meditation of a kid. it says it is fiction that is trying to support the author's point of what time really is. i have to say, it didn't tell me anything new. it was a flowery essay which basically came down to: time isn't bad, after all, and there is no way to count it. actually, that all gets into quantum physics and scientific jargon that i don't know enough about to bother you with. read one of michael crichton's books. i liked timeline and it shows a very extreme perception of time. i'll just say that the kid was not the first to discover that everything is made up of something else. I didn't like the second to last sentence about how he lived in the 'now' but the world never could. he was barely living in his 'now'. he was blindly following a path because he was intimidated by knowing what was the constant power behind events. he didn't want to think about the future that his present actions would dictate so all he had to do was think about the 'now'. it's not even a short-term goal: it's no goal at all. living in the moment doesn't require over thinking but it doesn't need under thinking either. if he thinks he can find that happy medium, who is he to say the world can't? living in the 'now' is obviously such a personal thing that no one can say if another is living in the moment. He can't live in the moment of the world so he thinks that no one can. he can't live in anybody or anything else's moment but that doesn't mean there is no living in the moment for the other person/thing. anyway, that's my opinion. what's yours?

  2. That was an amazing piece of work. Someone should publish that into a short story. One thing I would change is that you should fix some of the spelling errors. The second thing I would change is to make the ending even more powerful. It was great.

  3. Everyone has their view.  I am indifferent towards such an understanding.  Too much personification of Time.  It seems no one really appreciates time for what it really is.

  4. I think if it is too long to PASTE it is too long to read.
