  1. I was lucky enough to see it and touch it after the ducks won last year, and sure enough he had em on. I like it too. Classy and really brings out the excellence of the holy grail of hockey!

  2. I like it. Nice touch of class and gives it extra prestige. I saw part of the Mike Bolt interview (The Keeper of The Cup) on NHL Live, and he had the white gloves on the whole time.

  3. i like it. the cup is the best trophy in sports and it deserves special treatment,

  4. It keeps the natural oils from the cup keepers hands off of it. But when the players get ahold of it, thats a different story.

I'm a Detroit fan btw...And I answered your question, don't get too angry with me. If you ask another one, I'll probably answer that one too.

  5. Makes sense as it (Lord Stanleys Cup, soon to be Detroit's again) is the most coveted trophy in all of sports.

  6. Keeps it nice and shiny, with no embarrassing fingerprints.

Although it does make the people handling the cup look like pansies. \

  7. Why can't Detroit fans answer???? A little prejudice are we?????????

  8. I think it shows class.

  9. Remember it's Silver and Silver tarnishes very easily and quickly, especially when it gets the amino acids from your skin on it.

  10. I think it's a good idea.

  11. I think it shows some real class, the white gloves. I know it is to protect the cup and keep it looking shiny, But it shows a class that isn't shown in any other sport. That is why I like hockey as my number one sport
