What do you think about the growing traffic chaos in indian cities specially Delhi & Gurgaon?

no political will to have a long term solution to undesciplined driving.

Lack of funds to develop a world class traffic management system.

Lack of co-ordination between different civic authorities.

  1. Hi! the Tata Nano is going add more to the chaos!! wont the Nano run on CNG?(compressed natural gas) instead of gasoline?----everyone is talking about environmental pollution to be caused by Nano----------cheers!


  2. I would be worried more about the traffic in your town first that is unless they decide to send the extra drivers here then i would be worried

Why specially in Delhi & Gurgaon, the traffic chaos prevails in every spot of India.Although we have stringent laws,but due to unwillingness of enforcing agencies,undeciplined roadusers,corruption, are the major factor for creating the traffic chaos onthe road.Further Encroachment on roads reduces the width of widened road which is also major contributor in this regards.

Why Delhi & Gurgaon, almost all the cities in India having the same fate.  Vehicles populations are growing every  year and there is no proper planning.  Our  politicians have no time to concentrate on this civic problem, they are busy in filling their coffers.  Only five years they have power, within that time they have to make money, why should they bother about this

  6. Not just in Delhi and Gurgaon,it's also in Major cities like Mumbai,Bangalore,Chennai,Hyderabad and other places.

    Reason is Interlinked, like lack of infrastructre-More flyovers are required,cost sanctioned by gov eatenup by middlemen,MP's,MLA's and even ministers.
