Well it Depends on what you mean by India. The Territory of India defined by Great Britain is divided into 3 countries now (Pakistan, India, Bangladesh)

Kaveri water related issue is a chronicle problem between the warring states Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Every now & then it will crop in some other form. The politicians will never allow it to die down.

What's more important now is solving the project issue quickly and logically. First, both the states' politicians need to show tolerance towards each other. It looks like both TN and KA have valid problems on the water issue. The Central govt. is the middle man here. The Central has to get involved immediately, in resolving the problem in a better way, before the public gets more affected. That's what the govt. is for, after all!!!

I'm still waiting for the PM's reaction...

yes it will be unless of political will power and India have face many notorious problems this kind of problems can never shake its base no matter what-so-ever india will always remain one and a great nation
