What do you think about the "Antikythera mechanism"?

I think it is amazing only to those who thought people of those days were stupid.

Consider what Greeks did with geometry, math, philosophy.  They already knew the earth was round and had fairly closely calculated the diameter.  

Egyptians prior to that used math and building techniques that modern scientists still have not figured out.

'Tis a pity the Greeks or Egyptians did not have a good printing press.
