  1. I really like this idea

Sometimes a team loses a match because of bad umpiring and even if it doesn't affect the match much and the team is India and opponent team is Australia then Indians start crying it was all about Bribe. Aussie are cheaters

In my school it is a headache to listen to the complains of my teacher about the match

  2. It's a good idea! The umpires make mistakes and i think the right to appeal against umpire's decision will decrease the umpiring blunders!

  3. I'm not so sure about it to be honest. While the umpires may make poor decisions sometimes I think the final decision should still rest with them and not the players on the field. It takes away the umpires authority and I think it could lead to a total disregard of authority towards them (though I already think this happens sometimes) and that is not a good thing. Plus it's time consuming to keep having to refer things.

I will concede that some decisions are frustrating and clearly wrong but I think I would much rather keep the uncertainty level than negate the use of umpires who play an integral part in the game.

And didn't they already try this at county level and not one decision was overturned, so why they are suggesting the use of the system in test games I don't know!

  4. The idea is good as it will save the teams from the biased decisions of the umpires.

  5. It is a very good idea, especially in the Test Matches!

  6. its a good idea. as umpires are also human & to err is human. if batsman or bowler is sure he can appeal against the decision

  7. Well i like this idea but it should not be over used.

Yeah,3 referrals per match in enough. Not more than that.

    Good idea.

    Thumbs up to ICC.

  8. i really am for that method as alot of time this has happened and the result was always a bad end.

  9. its a good idea

  10. U know 2 wheeler ,4 wheeler vechicles often Make accidents..does tht mean v should BAN those vechicles??

  11. Lets take your question to the extreme. Judges and jury often get it wrong and send an innocent man to prison. Right to appeal against an umpire's decision goes against the grain for me, not that it lacks merit. Cricket over the last 30 years especially since the introduction of the 'deadly T20 variety' is about mega mega bucks. So a wrong decision to a batsman can be lethal and ofcourse unfair and there is a tool to put a wrong right. However, where it all falls apart is when an appeal is overruled by the the third umpire, and the appellant is left with egg on his face. He will be booed off the pitch. That's the problem we face. Worse still, he will never do it again even if he feels the umpire got it very wrong but will be too embarrassed if again it was overruled. So where do we go? It's a good question and as you can see both sides of the floor have good points. I personally would not appeal as in life things go your way and things sometimes don't. Accept what you may conceive as a bad decision with equanimity and dignity.

  12. its good thing

  13. I support it.

If bowlers can appeal agaist  a batsman. This should also be allowed.

    IPL should include this too.

  14. not a fan of it personally, i have always felt that you always take the umpires decision, good or bad!

  15. i think its a great idea that way umpires wont influence the result of a match with their mistakes

  16. this is a good idea in test cricket but one bad effect also have now if every player apeal against umpire then what ? so need to make more clear.

  17. i think the catch appeal would be right to appeal againt umpire decision

  18. I think that it's a very good idea. Every player should have the privilege of seeking the 3rd umpires decision, if he isn't satisfied with the judgement meted out to him by the field umpire. It's true that the umpires makes many mistakes. Often such wrong decisons turn the course of a match. But the decisons of the 3rd umpires, are usually more accurate, and also more free of controversy. This recommendation of the ICC about the right to appeal agaisnt a decision , may actaully prove fruitful, in eliminating human errors from the game, and ensuring proper judgement to both teams.

  19. each player has d right to appeal against d decision of d empire if he's wrong
