What do you think about the ruling that you're not allowed to drink at parades?

I think its a brilliant solution. There should be no parardes at all. I hate the way all the roads are closed in the summer just so a crowd of idiots can wear orange vests bowler hats and generally look stupid

I think its a great idea, I think there will be less trouble and make the parades more professional looking and not just full of louts.  People can go to a bar after and drink if they want.

Everyone drinks at a 12th day parade its all part of the fun,  Police may come around confiscating drink but guess what thats not going to stop us drinking, we will have more stashed in bags and up sleeves where ever we can.  To stop us drinking will cause riots against the police, but then who doesnt riot against them :)

I dont think the police can stop the crowds an if one trys to take my drink i will go skitzo on there ***.  :)

It's an excellent idea and it will make things more peaceful. Of course if they really want things peaceful then they'd not allow the parades.

You can still drink in a pub and look out at the parades. I spotted quite a few last night doing just that.

I wonder will they let us drink at the bonfires next Friday?

lets really think about this.

how many ppl turn out for the parade? seriously don't think that the police will be able to stop people from drinking.

ok so some ppl ruin; but the majority of people have a couple then head home. If i want to have a couple of drinks, i'm gonna have a couple of drinks!- probably wouldn't, but hate the fact that I am being told i can't, I am a fully grown adult and mother!
