What do you think about the state Texas?

Texas is a third world country with an extremist governor and district attorneys that would rather win cases than achieve justice.  The politicians are worse, on average, than other states as a result of gerrymandering run out of control.  Safe districts abound.  Texas has produced the worst we have to offer, Delay, Barton, Wade and, of course, 43.

Big state, overrun with illegals, lots of Spanish, good food, lots of cattle and ranches.

It's a large and diverse state.  We have some of the smallest, most rural places, in addition to several of the most populated cities in the United States.  The laws are fairly conservative, there are many areas to visit, the economy is among the best in the nation, and there is no state income tax (but property tax is high).

I moved here from Southern California when I was 14, and I am 28 now.  The weather is not as nice in Texas, and the scenery cannot compete with California in most instances, but Texas is definately my home.

Well, unfortunately, it did produce George Bush.  That is a big negative.  Also, the justice system is pretty much a joke.  Texas CPS is a laughing stock.

Illegal aliens everywhere and lots of rednecks.

But the Piney Woods where I live are pretty, and while the summers are quite hot, the winters are usually mild.

So, it is OK.  But it does have it's problems.

I think the size of their egos is only superseded by the size of their mouths.  The state legal system is a disaster.  They have a death machine set up and you know who said that he believes no innocent person has ever been executed.   Just ask the state governments of other states , they will tell you.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the zenith of evolution and 1 being the lowest, Texas would get a 2.

Stolen land from Mexico by massive hordes of illegal Anglo immigrants coming from the US. It is ironic that now Anglo residents fear that illegal Hispanics take over the land once again just as they did in the past.
