This video has a lot of Truth to it, it pretty much covers it all, (even though is a little dramatic with the music and stuff).

I am currently reading a book about 2012 and wanted to find out what people thought.

Are these the same crackpots who said the world was going to end in the 1970's, the 1980's and the1990's?  I'm still planning on being here in 2013 and as for Nostradamus he has been discredited, the guy was a drug addict.  'They were like crawlin' down the walls, maaaaan'.  It's all about interpretation, one hundred people can read the bible and see the end of the world but if you take another 100 people they will come away with a different message.  It's just right wing groups and conservatives playing on everyone's fears.  I live in Europe, we don't listen to c**p like that.

The Mayan Calendar ends in 2012.  Not because it's gonna be the end of the world necessarily, but the end of it as we know it.
