What do you think about this.. I got a ticket?

I just got a Ticket today for No insurance and a Expired Registration.... This is my 1st Ticket ever.. and I have a clean driving Record and a clean criminal record and what Not.. What am I looking at here? Oh this is in Texas.

Have you been living in a cave?  You should get all the fee's coming to you, I love how people try to get away with breaking the law and not paying for things like everyone else and then complain when they get caught.  You know you have to have insurance and you probably knew your tags were expired too.  Get it fixed and a judge might go easy on you when you go to court but I hope they aren't.  Pay your bills!

What you need to do is get your insurance and get your registration and call the cop who gave you the ticket and tell him you got your insurance and registration. He might either drop or just make you pay a fine.

Register your car and get it insured before you go to court.   If the judge is in a good mood, he/she will probably let you off with court costs and a deferment - meaning stay out of trouble and don.t return to his/her courtroom or he/she will throw the book at you.
