This is track ten from Death Magnetic, "My Apocalypse".

Sounds pretty thrashy and James's vocals don't blow, unlike on TDTNC. Kind of reminds me of Battery.

Aw, come on now. TDTNC had good vocals up until the "this I swear" part. I don't get it. James' voice sucked *** on everything until The Black Album (and that's okay---it's all about the music), and now people who claim to be old-school fans complain that he can't sing. Makes no sense.

Anyway, it sounds pretty good. My apologies for the rant.

They are trying so hard to reclaim so lost fans and secure their place in rock history. Every band has ripped them off for the last 20 years and now they are ripping themselves off trying to get back to respectability.... I give them credit as long as it does not sound like Load era or St. Anger, it has to be better. \"/

its a modern Metallica with a sound from their past, just AWESOME!

this is the best Metallica i heard since ..Justice

i will tell you this, its even better than the Black album. my opinion..

Lars (along w/ his ever growing forehead)  is awesome as usual, I like him as a drummer even if he is a sellout puss, Hetfield sounds like he's trying to get back to his younger years just a little too hard, he's getting old and so is his voice. The bass line is ok, not crazy about the song though.
