Do you like it? Any suggestion? How would you rate it if the scale is 1-10.

If you eat too much you will get fat; similarly if you read too much you will get smart.

they are not similar at all... they convey different lesson to learn... one is negative, the other is positive... eating too much could lead to lots of problems, not only to one's getting fat...

reading too much can't make you utterly smart at all....

I don't see humor in it.  It is equating being too fat, which is actually bad for you, with being smart, which is generally a survival enhancer, not a ticket to an early grave.

Unless you are doing it as you try to multi task - say, while driving or performing a complicated operation on someone else's  brain -  I find it hard to believe you can read "too much."
