Question

A Woman's Poem

He didn't like the casserole,

And he didn't like my cake.

He said my biscuits were too hard...

Not like his mother used to make.

I didn't perk the coffee right,

He didn't like the stew.

I didn't mend his socks,

The way his mother used to do.

I pondered for an answer,

I was looking for a clue.

Then I turned around and smacked the **** out of him...

Like his mother used to do.

Creative ! It is hard to bring laugh from such annoying situations. That is creativity. U managed a simple flow of idea, no breaks, till the punch line.

If it wasn't of the line before last , I'd say it was perfect, U could 'v managed a shorter line. Thanx for sharing :)

I agree with Danial.  That next to last line could possibly have been split and added another line to work it back into the rhythm the rest of the poem had.

But even so - hilarious!!  I did laugh with those last lines anyway!
