What do you think about this laptop?

i am thinking about getting the dell inspiron laptop- intel core2 duo processor T5750, with a hard drive of 250GB and system memory of 3GB. i have read reviews on bestbuys website, and the only con people say is vista. i am already used to vista so im ok with that. but what i was wondering is if you are able to play sims with expansion packs and still be able to have fast internet and able to download music for my zune, and if you think it is worth it. only $700

that should be fine, for what you are describing you basically have the goods down. Typically, for higher function use like youare going for, but not gaming quality, you should go for

2.2 GHz processor

200G HDD

2G Ram

256Mg Video card

these are just min specs but it should be enough to run what you want.

I personally have a beef with dell laptops, as almost every one I've seen has broken in some way.  I would recommend getting an HP, the one I'm on right now is loaded with a 2.0 ghz processor (core 2 duo) 250gb hard drive and 4gb ram with 64 bit vista, and it was only a little more at $850 if you are willing to spend a little more.
