  1. Only problem with list is that Salvador Sanchez should be much higher. Remember he was a 3 to 1 underdog against a highly touted Gomez and he pummeled him. With one loss he should be in top 5 easy. Awesome list otherwise.

  2. yup Duran number 1 thats good the only problem wit it is that Salvador Sánchez and Kid Gavilán should be higher

  3. Outstanding list there of great Hispanic fighters.  Here are my top 10:

    1.  Roberto Duran

    2.  Carlos Monzon

    3.  Salvador Sanchez

    4.  Ricardo Lopez

    5.  Eder Jofre

    6.  J.C. Chavez

    7.  Kid Gavilan

    8.  Ruben Olivares

    9.  Jose Napoles

    10.  Wilfredo Gomez

Thanks BIG BOPPER for reminding me about Eder Jofre.  It certainly would not be right not to have him in the top 10.

  4. great list but kid chocolate should be in the top 10, and also watch for super prospect yuriorkis gamboa

  5. Great list. . . your Number 17 should be RUBEN Olivares, not Raul. . . and personally, I'd have Raul "Raton" Macias on this list before de Jesus and Valdes. . . . .

And having Kid Gavilan not in the top ten is an insult to any Hispanic fighter.

  6. excellent list but Benitez should be higher, magnificent boxer, youngest champion ever at age seventeen

  7. Good List - but Somebody forgot the guy who not only would have brought the list up to 25 but who was that Great Latino World-Champ from Brazil-- EDER JOFRE who should have been near the top of the list  ?

  8. i think that its absolutly right my fav es Oscar de la Hoya.wow but i love them all...lolz

  9. I like your list bro but carlos monzon ? wtf did he do and who did he beat to be number 2? he also never fought outside of argentina.

he killed his wife by the way.

Another thing its ruben olivares not raul olivares.

  10. Can't argue with that list other than Id swap for  #1Monzon #2Chavez #3Duranand have Benitez number higher, great list though.

  11. is  bobby chacon considered hispanic? he could be your # 25 anyway is definitely deserving on the list.(he is as much hispanic as oscar de la hoya both are U.S. born)
