What do you think about this place full of different people with different beliefs?

I'm sure people have noticed or heard about a Gender and Women's Studies chat here through a friend or through a question or something ( http://www.chatzy.com/311649968122 for any who is interested, we welcome ya :D ). But here is my question, although it is a gender and women's studies chat which should have the purpose of talking about gender related issues, we often talk about different current events that is not directly related to these issues such as the environment, laws, history, the economy, politics...you name it. I went on that chat, fully expecting the people there to harp on about gender issues like we do here in GWS, but we talk to each other like we are all a bunch of close friends or something. Why do you think we don't focus on specific gender issues every minute like here? Can this chat room be a sign that people don't discuss these issues every minute of our lives and don't look for sexism in everything that we do? Your thoughts.

You have given no other possible answer except you really need to be educated.

Look to the left of the home page and select which ever topic you would like to ask a question about.

There is even an education section and even better a section that will educate you that you ask questions related to the topic heading hence in here we talk about what the heading is, gender and womens studies.

Go figure, I thought that was a given.

Well, for one thing, this is ostensibly a gender-issues forum. If we wanted to discuss other stuff on Y!A, we'd go to one of the other forums. But, yes, the chat is much more fun and relaxing than GWS could ever be.

i don't think gender issues are the only things people think about. there's more to life than that.

I was on there only a couple of times but I am very grateful to the person who gave me brilliant advice on protein and the vegetarian diet.  I think it was Bubba - cheers to you again girl!
