OKAY!!!

i am repainting my room and have chosen this.

I want to paint one of my walls with chalkboard paint.

i would like it to be a pale yellow, but chalkboard paint doesn't come in a pale yellow, so i will mix yellow and white together, and hopefully that will work!!!

but then the other three walls i would like to paint a pretty turquoise color.

then, for the bedding, i would get pale yellow sheets and a chocolate brown comforter

What do you guys think about it??

honesty please, even if you don't like it.

because i have to live with it for a long time.

I think it would be easier to answer if there as a picture of the room. But I have a fairly decent imagination, so let me crank up the old brain.

Seriously, I think it could be good, but your best bet is to go to a home development store (like Lowe's, Sutherland's, Home Depot) with the color you want. They can mix up the paint and get the exact color you want. They're great at it...trust me. It's well worth it than trying to mix it yourself.

The sheets sound like it'll all work with the room colors, but I'm not sure about the turquoise wall paint. Still, it couldn't hurt  to try.  You can always paint again.

Hmmm, I think I'm liking it.  I would suggest your comforter being chocolate brown with some turquoise.  That might help tie it all together.

The chalkboard wall sounds fun.  I'd sure have someone at the paint store do the mixing for you.  That way you'll be sure and have the right paints that you know will work for you.

I think it sounds great!  I agree with the other person that maybe the turquoise would put a few too many colors together at once, but usually if you go with your senses though, everything will work out.   Good Luck
