What do you think about this whole soul thing? Read details please

Question

After I was born, I was a little sick (mild form of epilepsy), and my mother took me to this young girl. This young girl had a gift; she communicated with...whoever or whatever people with these sort of gifts communicate with. I don't have all the details. However, my mom told me, that this girl said this was my first life. In other words, I was or am a young soul.

The interesting thing is that I've always been told that I have an old soul, based on the way I act. I am now 18, but yeah...What do you think about this?

I'm interested in finding more about this, so if you have any links you'd like to share that apply, that would be great.

You may have a young soul to your earth incarnation only. Just because this may be the first time you have manifested corporeally on earth does not mean that you have not been in soul form discorporeally for quite a long time. Remember that the concept of time exists for beings in corporeal form but have little to no meaning to us when we are incorporeal. For instance, when we dream or astral project oftentimes one 'loses' track of time. I have dreamed for what seemed like day long adventures that took place chemically in mere seconds of the local reality that my physical body inhabits.

So, just because you have a young soul on earth, you can still have an old soul from before the earth.

I don't have any reason to believe you have a soul at all.  Your personality is dynamic and constantly changing.

No offense, but I dont think souls are young anymore. We've been on the earth for millions of years, I dont think any souls would be so young.

don't accept this type of mysticism.I could play the game of psychic, or seer, and tell you some interesting facts which you would believe. It is like the horoscope, read the one before and after your birthday, sometimes it seems valid.The knowledge of stars and their influence have changed because new planets were discovered, and the universe is ever changing. The gift cannot be real.
