  1. Ok so i checked out the link, and im not sure what to think... It is really wierd, and i dont know if this is a lie, or what to think of it.

  2. There are no pyramids on Mars. There are some low resolution photographs that have vaguely pyramidal objects in them, but high resolution photos reveal those to be just mountains, or dunes.

  3. ur mums a pyramid on mars lol

  4. They're not artificial. These 'pyramids' are entirely natural phenomena - you get them on Earth on a smaller scale (due to Earth's thicker atmosphere - there's far more erosion on Earth than on Mars). The Bad Astronomy site has a LOT about these sorts of things - they're misinterpretations, artifacts from zooming in far too much, all sorts of things. But they're definitely not artificial!

  5. My personal opinion?  Complete and unadulterated nonsense.  I've seen that site.  It's drivel.

  6. That's where the Martians keep the stuff they steal on their raids to Earth. It's mostly beer, which the Martians enjoy because the dryness of their planet's climate works up quite a thirst. I imagine that they have a former neighbor of mine acting as bartender for them. Taylor disappeared about the time the Martians raided Hillsboro, West Virginia, and most folks think he got hisself alien-abducted.

  7. It's utter garbage.

Here is a list of cognitive biases evident on the website:

  8. Didn't they figure out that it was formed during years and years of sandstorms. Not by people, or things.

  9. There are no pyramids on Mars.  You're looking at pictures that have been zoomed to bring out image artifacts, then retouched to look more like there's something artificial there.

  10. bullshit. you're welcome.

  11. I try to keep an open mind, but at present, there are no signs of life

having existed on mars. the link shows an enhanced(read fabricated)

likeness of natural formations found on Mars.

  12. wow, i have nothing to say !!!

    thanks for the link !

  13. It's only "weird" if you lack any kind of enquiring mind and accept everything you are told at face value. First of all, those pictures have been touched up, and secondly, they still don't look like pyramids or buildings. No wonder there are people out there peddling this nonsense, there are obviously legions of gullible people out there prepared to believe anything you tell them.

  14. I really believe that they are a clear sign of an advanced alien race that either existed long ago and their civilization collapsed for certain reasons, or they may still exist and are watching our human race and life on earth evolve from far, and probably would consider Humans as savage and dangerous if they landed here.

  15. That photo is edited.

    It's not as it appears.

  16. The alleged geometric correlation between sites on Earth and sites on Mars (or elsewhere in the solar system) is based on the willingness of the human eye to "complete" such correlations if enough information seems close enough.  In the measured geometric sense, there really isn't much correlation.  The human eye is simply overeager to see things that appear the same.

The alleged hexagonal "pyramid" at Cydonia, for example, misses being a true hexagon by a very significant percentage.  It just resembles one at first glance.  Its faces are not smooth or flat, as claimed.  People just gloss over the irregularities and inaccuracy because they want to believe.

Most of this hogwash comes from a guy named Richard Hoagland, who makes his living criticizing and trying to embarrass NASA.  He'll happily take your donations to support his cause to uncover the "real" truth behind Mars and "expose" NASA.  Funny thing is that he just keeps making these silly unsupported claims.
