What do you think about war.?

what will russia do, would we ever have another war. Like last time? could we because of all our weapons being so much deadlier. Who else is worried about this?

Russia will do what it always has done as the former Soviet Union. Keep in mind the Who's song that said "look who's the new boss, same as the old boss.

Yes we will have another war. Especially if the U.S. is perceived weak.  

I am concerned about this, but isn't exciting times we live in?

I doubt russia will send ships to the US.  The might use nuclear weopons from submarines though.

We didnt have our last war.  

I don't know what we will fight with during WWIII, but I do know what WWIV will be fought with.  sticks and stones.

You sound young and I hate the idea of you worrying about the possibility of a big war affecting you. I spent almost two years in Vietnam to prevent (I thought) a new war coming about. There are thousands of wonderful American men and women fighting right now in Iraq and Afghanistan to make sure that war doesn't come home to you and they will make sure it doesn't! Russia and the U.S. will yell at each other and make war noises but, neither of us really want to go to war with the other. The people in other countries feel the same way you do. You would be surprised if you could visit Russia, to find out their young people have the same worries you do! The people of our two countries simply won't allow someone like Bush or Putin (the Russian war monger) or their followers to start a big war that would only hurt all of us. Keep good thoughts and say a prayer every day for our troops, our Congress (especially the new one coming in) and our country.

ps...As a project, and to make yourself feel better, you might look up who your representative in Congress is and write/e-mail him/her a note telling of your fears! It would make you feel better knowing you did something about your worries.

I am very worried about this. I think possibly we could go into another war. And economically our country cannot afford another war. We already are in a recession and the prices keep climbing until we soon crash into a depression again. My brother is in Iraq right now, and i'm very frightened that we may have another war and my brother and many others will have to go to another foreign place and fight. I honestly hope that more people are very shook up about the idea of war. But for many the Iraq war is not even in their brain now. It's just another thing thats on television. It is just so normal to be a country at war that the thought of war isn't in peoples brain.

Do you mean another World war? Russia's only had food and capitalism since 1991. Do you really think the majority of Russians would hold with a world war?

Our country is closer to tyranny, than Russia. I'm more worried about our politicians, than Russia. I'm worried about Republicans. Pardon my French, but all our Republicans always act like a bunch of dudes trying to prove they have some manhood. No wonder they were pissed at Clinton.

I'd rather have an office that got some on a regular basis, so they didn't act like idiots. I don't care who has the biggest, swinging d**k! I was ready to vote for Hillary! I'm tired of macho politics.

I think we might have to ration gas, again. We had to do that in 79-80? It kept the prices lower, we just didn't drive as much. People don't drive as much, now. Maybe 2/3rds of the populace remembers the old days, so it's voluntary.

Russia has made noises, threats, supplied Communist countries with arms, but our countries would be stupid to face off. Russia is telling Bush to stick it, because he's out of office. Add our huge debt, on top of an election, and we have no power.

Bush can snarl, but he has no power. He's spent us into the ground, but Russia has oil, so now they have power.

Georgia is all about politics, power and money. Russia wants to make a deal, in this case, Georgia is about oil. Russia wants our technology. Our oil companies would be better off, drilling in Siberia. Russia would give us a percentage, have the upper hand, they would get oil quickly...they haven't made this deal before, because of governments.

I've wondered why it took so long. No war with Russia, just a partnership. If we make the deal, China might be pissed.

War sucks and drains our money, takes lives, and divides us. I commend and honor those willing to fight for us, but would never do it unless our country was physically under attack.
