  1. oh i said a few mean things about my teachers but i havent been there in a while, so... but sure i like.

  2. I love it. It helps me before school starts, so I get a good leg with my teachers on the first day ;-)

Plus, I get to vent about teachers that p**s me off :D

  3. I find it quite funny to see what some people say about the teachers. I havent been on in a long time but its a very interesting site.

  4. I think they are better for college levels, because most people give honest feelings about the classes. I don't think they were made to say bad things when you are mad though.

  5. Most students will just rate their teachers on whether they're "nice" to them, and whether they gave them good grades.

I believe the ratings are SUPPOSED to reflect actual teaching ability, not students' personal grudges.

So... it doesn't work because most kids are too immature to judge their teachers fairly. When they look back on their teachers in a few years time, they end up realizing that the "stricter" ones that really pushed them, ended up being the best TEACHers.

  6. I think it's good cos there is never anything that bad on it because they always review it. I like it.

  7. I actually use ratemyprofessor.com BEFORE I sign up for the class. I'll know who's helpful, who doesn't require a textbook, etc. I dropped my Enc 1101 once only to find I chose the most hated English professor in the institution. Never again :)

  8. I think all the sites like that are immature.... to say the least.

  9. Sites like that can get you in hella trouble! Colleges have started checking facebooks, myspaces, and sites like those for all of their applicants to see what students are like outside of school hours. If you are writing $hit about teachers, college administrators will know, and then not admit you to their college.

What if your teacher you wrote about found out? Talk about hurt feelings and failing grades! I suggest you stop using sites like that immediately! Those sites are made only for trouble!
