What do you think an alien would look like?

I think aliens may exist; and if they do they definitly wouldn't look like what they're depicted as on TV would they?

what do you think they would look like? (serious answers only)

and if aliens do exist...do you think they're as sophistacated as the human race?

It would depend upon their environment.  

They could be unrecognizable to us completely as a life - form.  

It is conceivable that they could be a gas or energy in some form that we can't recognize.  

They would have a different concept of existence I'm sure and probably have no thought of what is sophisticated at all.

They are nothing such as aliens. Even if they are aliens its impossible to predict them how do they look and how brainw they are before looking and examining them...
