My opinion is Heath Ledger as the Joker in "The Dark Knight" and Robert Downey Jr. as Kirk Lazarus in "Tropic Thunder"!

that movie was horrible.

I would have to say for the other one, Robert Downey, Jr. in Iron Man. Once the Dark Knight came out, everyone seemed to forget about that 'other' super hero movie. He gave a great performance

Seriously, I liked Will Smith's performance on Hancock but I guess Heath Ledger was alright.

I'm going to wait until the year is over before I make any decision about which two performances were the best. We still have a third of the year left, and it is the third during which almost all of the films which will be under serious consideration for oscars will be released.

Have some patience.
