What do you think are the major events from the last 25 years?

I just turned 25 recently and was trying to think of the major events I've lived through. I came up with (in order of importance):

1. Berlin Wall falling

2. 9/11

3. The turn of the millenium

4. The internet

5. Hurricane Katrina

6. The Clinton impeachment

After that it was a mix of a few different things...AIDS, Chernobyl, the gulf war, iraqi invasion, maybe the OJ Simpson Trial, kosovo, i don't know if rwanda was important....maybe somalia...what do you guys think?

The most significant event has to be 9/11 !!

The effects of which will shape the future of the world and will live in history.

Maybe even a new world order!!

9/11 was a big deal. the u.s. hadn't fought a war against another country on our own soil since it was us vs. the british way back when. hurricane katrina was a big deal for me as im from southeast louisiana. clinton impeachment didnt matter at all. rwanda / dafur/ somalia should have been atleast number 3.
