What do you think are women more mature than man?

This is my discussion topic in my class.

I want to know what do you think about it becaus I think there are many different idea in the world.

Physically, women mature faster than men.

Saying that women are more mature than men, is generalizing.

Saying that 3 billion different people are more mature than 3 billion different people is not accurate >_>.

depends..... I've seen 35 year old women that are less mature then 19 year old men.

Its a Myth, girls arn't more mature than boys.

Girls are more likely to manifest their immaturity in self destructive ways, sleeping with older men, meeting strangers on the Internet, fighting with parents, shop lifting, etc

Boys are more likely to manifest their immaturity in destructive ways, driving too fast, fighting with class mates, vandalism, destroying things and therefor boys are more generally recognized as "immature" then girls, despite the fact that they are both immature

Yes women are more mature then men. Always. And they take the blows of life better then men as well. I'll just say it. Women are superior then men..ARE YOU HAPPY YOU GOT ME TO ADMIT IT.

I do believe it is true that girls at the age of 14 or 15 typically display the same level of social maturity boys do at the age of 17 or 18.  It would be interesting to do a study of males and females at the age of 40, however.  I'm curious to see whether or not females tend to hit a wall at the age of 15 or 16.  We can compare and contrast behaviors such as crying to get ones way, throwing temper tantrums, using insults, name calling, pouting, attempting to manipulate others, expecting ones own way and failing to accept responsibility for the consequences of ones actions.  I'm curious to see if by age 30 men have made significant gains on women in these realms.  I have seen numerous women well into their 50's that show no demonstrable signs of being any more mature than a 15 year old.  Women in offices tend to argue with every single rule or order given, the level of insubordination is unreal.  I would like to see research on this, as these observations may be nothing more than my own tainted view of the world through a misogynistic lens.

If you're speaking about commonly measurable physical attributes corresponding with puberty, such as key growth spurts and maturation of sexual things like pubic hair, it's true that women hit certain stages of measurable physical maturity anywhere from 1-3 years earlier than males.

If you're speaking about mental maturity, such as being level-headed and responsible or taking to 'older' interests sooner, there is of course no way to measure such a thing, and anyone claiming to have any knowledge or statistics on it is either confusing it with the first thing, or making it up.

I think what you are talking about is women mature faster than males, 16-18 and males mature 18-22.  somewhere in that ballpark...

Sooner does not mean more overall.  Men and women should be held at an equal status in maturity and told apart from who they are after both these ages have passed.  

If you need further proof...just look around and find a mature male and then a mature female....then find two that are immature...try to find which one of the mature ones are more mature...how do you do that?  you can't?  So read those pages again....
