I was laying with my one year old son last night and he started laughing in his sleep. He does this all the time. Sometimes he will frown and start to cry and then he will start laughing. It makes you wonder what babies are dreaming about.

  1. Who knows but they gotta be sweet innocent dreams. I love watching my kids sleep it's so nice to see them so peaceful. If only there lives could be like that forever.

  2. I wonder too, my son does the same thing, sometimes he will start sucking too, theres no dummy or anything in his mouth, i think than he is dreaming "boobie boobie boobie" haha he is a sweetie

  3. My 2 month old sometimes laughs or sometimes crys ..i wonder too..My mom says they dream with Angels

    (that's when they laugh)

  4. big areolas! and lots of them!

  5. boobies!

  6. They dream about the same things we do, of course excluding worries and what not.. but they dream about the people they see and events they did.. he is probably laughing in his sleep when he dreams about you tickling him or doing something funny.. and the little wimpers an cries is relating to a dream that may have starled him, like a loud noise often.  Its so cute when they laugh in their sleep, my 5 year old does this almost everynight, sometimes he does full blown laughing.. i cant help but laugh.  An its so sad when he makes a wimper or sad face, i usually rub his back or hug him and it seems to turn the bad dream into a good dream.  :)

  7. I don't know, but right now I wish I did. My two year old refuses to touch the bed, he won't cover up with any blanket in the house, and he has random freak outs. The only thing I can guess is that he's had a dream that bothered him and keeps remembering it. He screams what sounds like 'flies!' and cries his little heart out. There are no flies in the house, but we did go to the fair the other day and he saw a bunch of them gathering around a light in the evening. Maybe it freaked him out, lol.

But it is amazing watching them sleep...seeing them grin, giggle and all. Sometimes they make faces that make you want to wake them up and hug them, poor guys!
