What do you think can Abhinav Bindra will be more popular than sachin,yuvi or viru?

I dont think so because the cricket is in the blood of every indian. we can not get away from it unless we died. isnt it?

I think there will be one sport that can becom more popular in india and that is Tennis. so let Sania Mirza work hard.

no he will not because cricket matches r every month and we watch it but shooting matches i have not saw any and also it shows in doordarshan and no one sees doordarshan everybody watches tensports or star cricket so according to me he will be popular but not as sachin yuvi or viru now we may remember him for a month not after that ;)

Its great that he has won an Olympic gold and everything but nothing can replace cricket's popularity in India. Lets face it you cannot even come close to comparing him to Sachin. Every Indian knows Sachin ....and its sad but not everyone knows about the feat achieved by Abhinav.

i must admit, i dont always agree with her, but this time i completely agree with Ravii, before the Olympics, how many of you had even heard of Abhinav? next to none, and even less of you would have ever talked about him, sure he has done very well, but one performance is not enough to bracket him in the same class of greatness as Sachin
