What do you think could have made Breaking Dawn better?

Personally, I think that it should have been a normal baby not a demon spawn monster thing, Jacob should have ended up with Lee, and someone should have died at the end (besides Jacob, Bella, and Edward) with the Volutri (not including Irina)

What would people think if Edward somehow became human?

  1. i would've loved it is Edward became human.

or if the baby wasnt monstrous. lol.

i've been an edward fan from the beginning but i'm starting to wonder what bella's life would end up as if she went with Jake.

hmmm...o god i'm gonna get lots of thumbs down for that. haha

  2. id like the characters to act like themselves... none of them really acted like they should or like how they are "spossed to act"... ya know?

  3. The baby was like... verifying teenage pregnancy. Making it trendy. That's something that should NEVER be trendy. The whole baby thing was contrived in the first place. She was so unrealistic, but my friends all adore her and say they want one of her really bad. I'm like, "This is fiction. the baby is unrealistic, no baby is that perfect, no one's LIFE is that perfect." And then I get called a party pooper. Nice.

If she insisted on having Reneseme, fine. Then kill off Bella. I thought that was where she was headed, I was positive of it. I thought to kill off the narrator was a pretty cool idea. Sacrifice, you know? But she lives, is perfect, gets her parents, no bloodlust, edward, jacob, EVERYTHING she ever wanted. I cant think of one thing wrong with her life. Does that ever happen in real life?

I know that it's fiction. I get that. Fiction follows reality, though, and to completely break with relatiblility and get a fairy tale where a fairy take has been hinted at never happening in the first place is ridiculous.

If edward became human, he would have to die, in my opinion. Again, the sacrifice and perfection issue.

I think I was the only one not creeped out with Jacob imprinting. I've never really had much of a problem with imprinting, actually. It's a sort of plot device, and it's "true love" (whatever that is) and I dont know, it's got a ring of destiny to it that I just... like.

Jacob and Leah... I think would require a personality overhaul.

  4. maybe, it all depends.

i personally liked all her other books better. this breaking dawn one sounded  a bit boring

  7. I think it could have not been published. That would've made it much better.

but i have to agree with the one answer that says a plot
