What do you think happened here? A boy ran out of the party instead of dancing with me.?

This happened to me 23 years ago and I still cannot figure out what the deal was.

My close friend had her Bat Mitzvah and with it came a big party with a dance. I was helping her with invitations etc. and convinced her to invite the very good looking boy I had a crush on but had never spoken to.

She asked in exchange would I start the snowball dance -- where one couple starts dancing and then they ask two more people and on and on and s****. dooby doo until everyone is dancing. I said yes on the condition that she draw the boy`s name from a hat so it is totally random.

That night she drew my name from one hat -- which had been fixed to be me because she said I was mature and if she chose one of our other friends they would get all giggly and weird about it. Which boy`s name do you suppose she picked? ``Dan`` the boy I had a mad crush on.

Now I was not the most popular girl in school because I was shy and studious. But at the same time I was tall and thin and --CONTINUED

    Maybe he just didn't like dancing, or was self conscious about it.

    maybe he had a crush on u and wasn't as mature as u were

    i doubt he thought that u were repulsive

    maybe u should confront him about it if u ever see him again it is probably something the two of u can laugh about now
