In my opinion, there are two possibilities for this.

firstly, it was only the beginning of a flurry of Undertaker's mind games that will be played to Vickie (the similar way when Undertaker terrorized Randy Orton's life in the past)

The second possibility here would be that it is the first signs of Edge's comeback. It is signified by a lights-off, a similar sign as Undertaker's appearance due to the fact that, it is rumored that Edge would comeback as a Vampire Edge, and thus it is a deadman gimmick. The gimmick is said to be similar to that of Gangrel's and the gimmick serves as a form of tribute to Gangrel.

In any case, when the hysterical scream of Vickie upon the darkening of the room is nothing, it is just the way Vickie is when she is freaked out.
