  1. practice getting a good start out the blocks

  2. if its just gonna be for a 100m sprint .. i guess you should do shuttle runs. sprints of 20m back and fourth of about 8 repititions till you start to feel slow. rest a bit and go sprinting again. it trains your launching power when u have to run back at the 20m mark. thigh & calve excercises for even more launching power. for 100m a very good launch is v impt because even if you are slightly slower then one of them, your headstart might give u a good chance to win anyway.

  3. Run on your toes and buy spikes. lean forward. When moving your hands go from hip to jaw. Train by running 1/4 sprints till your about tired out. Then run a couple 100s. Don't run the day before the race let your muscle rest. The day before eat pasta for dinner. Get a good nights sleep for 2 days before the race.

    Good Luck

  4. You really need to go to your local athletics track, ask someone there for a sprint coach. I've got one, they'll show you new techniques on how to run it really helped me and you should give it a try. Before the race you should stay focused as well as calm. But I'm no professional and you should really find someone who has a high degree in athletics for sprinting.

    GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR RACE!!!

  5. Just go swimming and go to the gym
