I'm guessing not so high since they just walkout and take there time crossing the street when there are on coming cars, just about hit a baby deer last night, good think i was doing the speed limit. :P

Very low indeed, if IQ is even and idea that fit them.  I had a similar encounter with a 6 to 8 point deer once.  It was just standing in the street chewing on something.

It did not move!  LOL!  I drove right up to it, and the animal kept standing there, big eyeballs staring at me.

I'm sure they have no sense of what a moving vehicle is or the damage it can cause.

I was just as amazed as you.
