Hey Im a BIG TIME audio freak and I was just wondering if their was any other brand better than these, MTX,KICKER,ROCKFORD,JL AUDIO,ALPINE,ORION,SERWIN VEGA,MEMPHIS if so let me know and why first answer free 10 points

most of the one you have listed are great products..some of the one that i known and used are: resonant engineering (re audio), digital design(dd audio), elemental design, adire audio (brahma), treo engineering, image dynamics, orion hcca, precision power (ppi), zapco, arc audio, mmats, us amp...and much more!! this are most of the company i used and reccomended if money is not a factor...

There are so many audio brands out there that are "better" than others, it's hard to pinpoint, some brands make better amps, while some make better speakers, and others make better head units, so it would depend on what type of component youa re speaking of to say which brand is better or not

I would suggest other big hitters that most of the mainstream audio guru's dont hear about.  Mainly because they are specialty and competition grade.  You cant find them at car toys or best buy or circuit city etc.

Fi Car Audio, Re Audio (x-owner of Fi Car Audio used to own RE) Fantastic subs from both.  Re audio also makes amps.

Digital Designs (or DD audio), They make some AMAZING Subs and amps.

Image Dynamics Make great SQ subs and decent SPL subs...not as good as the three above...but decent and better that most of the ones you listed in your list.

Ascendent Audio makes some decent subs as well.

They have alot of This Vs That sub etc and also the 12" woofer challenge, and also is the home of Ampguts.  They have pictures of amplifiers and the guts inside them as well.

I prefer Fi subs because they are built very well.  The owners of Fi are VERY Helpful.  They do recones for their subs as well as many of the other manufacturers subs, as long as their parts will fit the motor etc.  Also bang for the Dollar, by far these guys sell there woofers cheaper than many others.  Similar subwoofers with same type of power cost alot more.  IE: JL...The W7 retails $750 per sub.  The Fi BTL (top of the line sub, with all the addons and upgrades....is STILL cheaper....and sounds better and louder than the w7.  I have both the 12w7, a Fi BTL 12" loaded sub w/ cooling third magnet etc.  I've also owned a Re Audio x*x 12" sub.  Great sub too.  But it too cost a heck of a lot of money.  I bougt it used...but retail it is $800 I think...And it too is better than the w7.

Anyway...check out the resources I provided...And enjoy more car audio that you did not know existed! :)  oh and Serwin=Cerwin....

They go out of their way to help.  Nuff said...not many others will go out of their way let alone answers about their products in open forums.  

Check out Steve Meade's Taho and his 4 Fi BTL 18's...Causing people to RUN from his car because it is Sooooo loud!

All I have to say is amazing.  

Some other companies that are decent...Phoenix Gold.  RSD Amps are decent and are at least putting out what the specs say and are overbuilt.  There old school M, MS, MPS  Series amps are truely amazing cheater amps like old school orion etc.  They also have a great component set.  the RSDC's...cheap but great!  they retail under $200.  To get you something close from MB Quart or Focal would cost you $500 to $800.  Also Phoenix Gold has a great subwoofer out currently.  There 12" RSDC competition woofer.  Again, a very decent sub, not as good as the heavy hitters I said above, but for the price...this sub runs around the $150 range.  And is much better than anything in it's class or price range.  You can see reviews on this sub on many different sites.  phoenixphorum, realmofexcursion, caraudio.com, etc.

Wakeup pretty much sums it up, if you do your homework on lesser known brands (not lesser quality), you can get a high grade product for the same price as average quality main stream product.
