What do you think is better to ask somebody or to find it yourself by research?

i don't know what comes into my mind to ask this kind of question?

  1. It depends on what you are trying to find out and who "somebody" is.  If the person you are asking is an expert in the subject, then asking them might actually constitute research (I would rather hear about presidential decisions by talking to the President, rather than reading someone else's interpretation of it).  However, if you just ask some random person, research makes much more sense.  


  2. Both, it's nice to see how someone else views things. And this question is very funny.  

  3. Definitely to find it yourself by research.  But sometimes you don't have time to research and have to ask.

  4. I would consider asking a knowledgeable person to be a form a research.

  5. The simplistic answer: ask a democrat who they support for President without asking anyone else and ...guess what you get one answer. With today's Internet, you can explore both sides and all around and then make up your mind - don't ask, don't tell.

  6. Asking others is doing research.  Besides, a lot of times you get more information when you talk to others when a story is included.

  7. Research first, &if you can't find what you're looking for then ask.
