What do you think is going to happen to the Canucks?

It going to be so different without Bourdon, Linden, and Nashlund. Do you think they will be good and will they get Sundin? I personally don't want them to get him, he's a waste of 10 m. if he retires in a year or so. Who else do you think they will get?

Well they need sopme upgrades.

BUT

everyone gave them such a hard time, but they pretty much lost their entire defensive core to injury

if they do nothing else they will probably be at the very least a playoff team next year

The Canucks screwed up and are in a big hole now. They brought in new ownership and are trying to make a splash, like the Lightning. In the future the Canucks will be an elite team behind veteran netminder Luongo. If they can land Sundin I wouldn't be surprised if they nabbed the 8 seed and had a good series vs Hockeytown but look more to the future for this team. not this season

Sundin does not sign with vancouver, vancouver makes no other major acquisitions and vancouver misses the playoffs. it'll be a tough year to watch the canucks. I think they'll be a bubble team and finish just out of the playoffs again.

The Canucks suck and won't make the playoffs for the next 5 years. Everyone in the division is getting better with trades and FA signings and they go out and sign Wellwood? WTF?
