What do you think is the best fighting style?

i just wanted to know what would be the best fighting style all around because i might wanna learn it..

  1. There is no "best" fighting style, but a good one that I'm learning is san da, which is Chinese boxing/kickboxing. It's intense, and really effective. I'm really small, and I wanted to learn self-defense, and this helps me with power control and speed. It focuses on your strengths and weaknesses, i.e. left hand is quick but weak, and right hand is strong but slow, and puts them together to create a fluid movement of boxing to overthrow your opponent.

    I strongly recommend it! It is a good fighting style to protect yourself in self-defense.


  2. There is no superior style anymore. A good stand up style would be boxing and muay thai. A good groundfighting style would be brazilian jiu jitsu and wrestling. However incorporate all styles into one. My advice would be to learn all these and more and have all bases covered.

  4. some sort of martial arts. boxing just requires a person who can take a punch whereas martial arts are more skill based and they speed up your reflexes

Mixed Martial Arts is the best style it has everything you need from striking to ground fighting.MMA has techniques of boxing,wrestling,kick boxing,jiu-jitsu and submission grappling training MMA will get you in top shape and make you a strong well rounded fighter ready for anything go to a good MMA school in your area and sign up depending on your location you could be training with some world class fighters.

  6. Remember best is a subjective term. I think if you get a mastery of any martial arts you will be lethal.

    But I take KRav, I like the all inclusive nature of it..ground, strike, kicks and holds. But we have some girls in our class and the military aspect of it was not appealing. One girl moved to Tai Chi and loved it a little more.

    Check out a great many to see what fits your style. I probably will also take Savate.
