  1. I think the ’96 Bulls are the greatest of all time. I think the 72-10 record speaks for itself  and 87-13 including the playoffs.  No one has posted a better combined record in NBA history.  Yet that is rarely brought up when the debate centers on the greatest team of all time. The next best team to reach the 80 victory plateau was the ’86 Celtics with 82. Other teams comprising the short list of greatest ever (along with the Bulls and ’86 Celtics) include the ’64 Celtics, ’67 76ers, ’72 Lakers and ’87 Lakers.

  2. 90'S BULLS

  3. The 1999 San Antonio spurs w/ David Robinson and Tim Duncan.  They won a record 13 strait playoff games and would have been 15 if the refs didn't let the knicks win one finals game.

  4. Bulls no question!

72-10 record, 6 titles 8 had MJ not retired for those 2 yrs.Bulls dominated teams with ease or punished them when they wanted to.

  5. The bulls 72-10

  6. The 2005-06 San Antonio Spurs.

No. They didn't win the championship but that was the best Spurs team and therefore the best team. They finished 63-19 (the franchise record). Tim Duncan was injured the whole year. If he were healthy they would have been unstoppable.

The Spurs should have won the 2006 NBA championship but the refs did them in. The Duncan foul trouble and excessive free throws in the Mavs series were unmistakeable cheaterism. Still they went to game 7, where Duncan's injuries proved too much to overcome.

  7. 80's Lakers ... because other teams doesn't have anyone to stop Kareem and Magic

If you going by win total or Championship ...

    It's 60's Boston Celtics

If you say if they were all at age 27-28 and played against each other then i say it 2003-2004's Laker

    Because they had:

    Shaq

    Malone

    Kobe

    Payton

    Fisher etc

    but I'll probably hear how they didn't win and stuff from moron but .. they weren't at age 27 ( Payton 35 , Malone 40 , shaq 31 )

    Edit:

Who gives c**p about 1 regular season record ? You think 72-10 is unstoppable ? how about 8 straight Championship sounds like ? or 11 Championship in 13 years ?

I even think 70-71 Bucks with Kareem and Big O could beat 90's Bulls

    Or 71 - 72 Lakers with 69-13 Record .. 33 winning Streak .. with Wil , West ,  Gail Goodrich

  8. bulls 90's why? easy they had the best player in NBA michael jordan

  9. Bill Russell's celtics were the best team ever.  Bill had 4 hall of famers on the court at the same time for his whole career.  Well at least when they won those 7 rings in a row.  Billl Russell averaged more ppg in college than he did in the Pro's.  His pro average ppg was something like 16ppg.  Do you know why he didn't have to score.....He already had all the offensive weapons they needed.  All bill needed to do was play defense and get out the outlet pace.  The only way I can put into perspective for you is a team with Gilbert Arenas, Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnet, now imagine all these guys in their primes of their career together and stay together for 8-10 years.  And then imaging Arenas retires and Dwayne wade replaces him and you have an equal team of the celtics of the 50's and 60's/

  10. bill russel's teams by a long shot

    10 of 11 championships including 8 straight

4 of the 50 greatest 50 basketball players of all time

    The greatest coach of all-time

  11. considering Laettner never played, it would have be '92 olympic team. No other team of nba'rs even compares. and quit saying the 90's Bulls. Jordan could have got 70 wins if it was just him and a cardboard cutout of Pamela Anderson. seriously.

  12. the Bulls the laker and celtics would be a toss up

  13. 89 detroit pistons.  Undersized, unappreciated, under ranked...They were the most scrappy, championship hungry team i have ever seen in my life.  You can put an argument with the 92 bulls, they had one of the most stacked teams ever, with i think 3 of the greatest players to ever play the game.  But they didn't have a disadvantage like the stones.

  14. '95-'98 Bulls if I remember correctly during on of those seasons didn't they go 72-10? Or am I incorrect? I can't remember correctly. But this team was nearly unstoppable. Especially with the famous triangle offense. No one was able to stop this powerful offensive threat.

  15. 80's lakers because magic and kareem abduul jabaar

  16. bulls
