  1. Let me answer with a little anecdote.

I just recently finished housesitting for my neighbors for a week. They have one cat, which I had to feed and let in and out. At the end of my stay I had my sister come over and help me move some of my stuff. She noticed this aquarium tank and asked if anything was in it. I assumed it was empty, but under further inspection there was a turtle in it!!! I immediately texted my neighbors about it, and they told me not to worry about it.

I'm going to say a turtle is a good bet, because I didn't feed it or give it water for a week (hey, the didn't tell me about it in the first place) and he survived!

  2. I suggest a Guinea pig, their very friendly, and loving, and she can cuddle it.

As to where you can't excactly cuddle a Turtle or a lizard, and hampsters tend to bite...

But what about a bunny? Bunnies are very sweet loving, good natured hoppity creatures! Fun, cute and curoius! And simple to care for!

Email me at PinkBunnie94@Yahoo.com for more info on Guinea pigs, or bunnies!

  3. Turtle, they eat less than any of the others, they dont need the heat lamp that a lizard does. The most important thing with a turtle though,  is that he is healthy from the get go!

  4. I personally the easiest one to take care of is the hamster of them all. They are small, cute, require little food, and are easy to clean after. But if I were you, I would consider a parakeet. (I currently own one) They are cute, even easier to care for, and your daughter can teach it tricks and develop a relationship with it. I really love parakeets and am sure that if you give them a try, you and your daughter will love them too. (you can buy one or more if you like but one would be easier to care for). I hope you make a good choice for you and your daughter!! :)
