Ugh... the Notebook was weak.

I tend to like When Harry met Sally. It's getting kind of dated, but it was funny and touching at the same time. The Notebook was annoying.

For you young people who like more sappy stuff, I also liked "A Room with a View". You'll see a very young Hugh Grant in that movie (but not as a main character). It is also amazing how little Helena Bonham Carter has changed (even though she's much skinnier and freakier now). Also this movie happens in Italy which is about a billion times more romantic than midwest nowhere that the Notebook happens.

Saying the Notebook is the greatest love story of all time is like saying Harry Potter is the greatest book of all time. Get out and see more movies, read more, and travel more. Try watching something different, read something different. Don't be boring. If you usually watch horror, watch some comedies. If you like romance novels, try a mystery novel. Always go to Olive Garden? Try a greek place next.
