What do you think is the most beautiful piece of piano music?

My faves are Claire de Lune and River flow in You by Yiruma.

My personal favorite has to be Schumann's Kinderszenen Op. 15. Wonderfully nostalgic, especially played by Martha Argerich.

Frederic Chopin's Ballade No.4 in F minor...hauntingly beautiful and sad.

(it was  featured in the movie the 'Pianist' if you haven't seen it check it out)

Saint-Saens Concerto No. 4...especially the first movement!

I can't get enough of the adagio from Edvard Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor (especially when played by Arthur Rubinstein). It reminds me of the Nordic spring with the thawing weather and the melting snow.

"Claire de Lune" is probably my favorite, with "The Swan" from Saint-Saens "The Carnival of Animals" in close second. I like "Moonlight Sonata" (Beethoven) and "Dawn" from the movie "Pride & Prejudice" (composed by Dario Maranelli), too.
