What do you think is the most rewarding job you ever had/have and why?

Working with MR/DD clients. I had a blast at work, it was great! (Even though I have bitten, scratched, had my nose broke, lip busted open, and a permanent neck/shoulder injury from it!) A lot of people can't do it, or think they can't, but it really made me feel like I was making a difference in peoples lives, and they all made a difference in mine.

While in college I taught drawing and crafts to kids from elementary thru high school for a park district. I loved it....A use for my creativity  and I loved seeing how each child had a different drawing on the same subject .

Being a mother is the best and by far the most rewarding job that I could ever have. I get to help my son grow up to be an upstanding, responsible adult with good moral values.

I guess raising my three wonderful children has been my most rewarding job. I have to give my husband credit for his part too. It's awsome to see how happy, well adjusted, caring, and suuccesful adults we have added to the world. They do volunteer work, work hard and contribute to taxes, never polluted their bodies with harmful substances. They care and work for the better of humanity. I am so proud of them and think every day how happy I am for the time we were able to spend with them when they were so young and trusting. There were so many difficult times too, but we always talked it out. All I can say is every ounce and energy you put into your children is paid back hundred fold. It's an awesome feeling!

The best job I ever had was when I was working in a coal mine in the Rocky Mountain (Canada side).  I was flagging trucks that were dumping their loads of refuse over the side of the mountain (had to make sure they didn't drive the trucks off the edge too ;) )  Can't say why it was the best, I just know I was happiest when I was working there.
