  1. New York and Tokyo

  2. Los Angeles, because it means "The City of Angels"

but in reality, it's a living h**l hole.

  3. New York and Paris

  4. Seattle and Katmandu.

  5. PHoenix is pretty unique.its in the desert, good mexican food, the geography of the land has a pretty big influence on the city. also, its a kind of  a small city in the desert but theres close to 5 million people here crammed in.

  6. Well, obviously I haven't been all over the US, and as a non-american perhaps it's easier for me to answer this question with an outside perspective. I really think San Francisco is very unique. World is much harder... so much territory to cover. I would have to Dubai is unique because it's so damned strange.

  7. New York in the U.S., and St. Petersburg, Russia.

  8. probably vatican city. no religion in this day and age could siphon enough money from the people to build their own CITY.

  9. I think it's Hollywood.  No matter what other people say about New York, Chicago, Paris, or Prague, they're all big cities that hold a lot of the same things.  Hollywood is completely unique.  Countries all over the world watch the movies that are created there. They don't have their own cities like that.

  10. New Orleans - Compared to other American cities it marches to the beat of a way different drum.  It has a unique cuisine (Creole, Cajun), unique music (Zydaco, Delta Blues), unique language (Yat).  They live in Parishes.  They practice voodoo.  They entomb their dead above ground.

In the world?  Hmmmm...  I'm inclined to answer New Orleans, but could also make an argument for Dubai or Istanbul.

  11. chicago

  12. New York, Rome or Paris
