What do you think is the one thing to look forward to in the army?

driving an army truck, target practice, the drills, etc. im just curious..cause im going to join..and im just thinking of things that ill be doing..

Going through the suck with your buddies.  The people you meet, serve with, and sacrifice with will help define you for the rest of your life.

The money for college, of cause all the weapons practise. Also you'll have a chance to see most of the world.

waking up at the crack of dawn and having the drill sergeant screaming in your ear, doing tons of push ups sit ups running marching for miles, sweating profusely with a bunch of other men, falling 30 ft off of an obstacle course shattering your bones and not having any privacy for 10 weeks.

The number one thing that i looked foward to was my ETS date. However I stuck around in the National Guard for a while longer where I acctually did more active duty time than I did on my first enlistment.
